Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) - Med Surg

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate registered nurse to begin your nursing career in a Medical-Surgical setting. You will provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, matching patient needs with your clinical competencies. During your introductory period, you will complete all established competencies required for the position. This role may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients in a Medical-Surgical unit
• Work under minimal supervision as you develop clinical competencies
• Complete all required competencies within the designated introductory period
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years of acute care experience
