Registered Nurse New Grad | 2 West | Night Shift |

Yuma Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad for a training and orientation position on 2 West. This role is designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and critical reasoning needed to practice as a competent registered nurse in an inpatient setting. You will work under the guidance of an experienced preceptor, incorporating theoretical knowledge into clinical practice while providing safe, supervised patient care.

Clinical Setting

This position is located on the 2 West unit at Yuma Medical Center, an inpatient setting where you will gain foundational experience in direct patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and coordinate direct patient care
• Perform charting and documentation
• Provide patient and family teaching in preparation for discharge
• Communicate with the healthcare team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Night shift
• Regular full-time position
• 72 hours every two weeks

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current Arizona state or compact state RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Zero years of experience required (new graduate position)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar EHR system

Compensation

• Hourly pay rate
• Salary range: $30.00 to $48.00 per hour (base hiring range; actual salary may vary based on skills and experience)
