Registered Nurse, MNI Neuro PCU

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MNI Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.

You will deliver direct patient-centered care in a progressive care setting focused on neuroscience patients. As a Direct Patient Care RN, you will demonstrate proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, and evaluation while maintaining flexibility, strong organizational skills, professional accountability, and leadership. You will provide culturally competent care utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• One year of acute care neuroscience experience
• Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor degree in Nursing

Note: RNs hired after specific dates (2/1/2012 for South, 10/1/2017 for Bethesda, 10/1/2023 for Boca, 7/1/2018 for Fishermen's) with an Associate degree must complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three years of hire. RNs hired prior to these dates are not required to hold a BSN to continue in a non-leadership RN role.

Certifications and Additional Requirements

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Preceptor class completion required within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice
