Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical Unit at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide evidence-based nursing care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while working as part of a collaborative community hospital team.
The Medical-Surgical team offers the variety that makes community hospital nursing unique. You will care for patients across a range of diagnoses, ages, and acuity levels, with exposure to medical-surgical, telemetry, intermediate care, and ED overflow patients. As a Medical-Surgical RN, you will build broad clinical experience while caring for diverse patients in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the care experience
Clinical Setting
This position is based at Baystate Noble Hospital, a community hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts, part of the Baystate Health integrated healthcare system.
Schedule
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Night shift
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Licenses and Certifications
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
Compensation
Hourly pay range: $41.82 to $66.30 (minimum to maximum). New hires typically start in the lower part of the range. Actual salary will be determined based on relevant experience.
