Registered Nurse, Med Surg/Tele Transplant Unit, Full-time Nights, VOLOL

Virtua is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg/Tele Transplant Unit in Camden, New Jersey. This full-time night position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care to transplant patients in a dynamic acute care setting.

Clinical Setting

You will work on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Transplant Unit, caring for patients requiring post-transplant monitoring and acute medical-surgical nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and treatment regimens
• Participate in clinical decision-making with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety
• Delegate and monitor care provided by nursing staff and other healthcare team members
• Participate in orientation, education, and professional development of healthcare team members
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 standard hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing (minimum)
• 0-1 years of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2-4 years of nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $46.39 - $64.45 (based on experience, internal equity, and market alignment)
