Registered Nurse, Med Surg/Tele (5W), Full-time, Days, VOLOL

Virtua is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Med Surg/Tele position in Camden, New Jersey. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and treatment regimens
• Participate in clinical decision-making regarding patient care
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety
• Delegate and monitor care provided by nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team
• Participate in orientation, education, and professional development of healthcare team members
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing
• 0-1 years of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2-4 years of nursing experience

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 standard hours per week

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $46.39 - $64.45 (based on experience, internal equity, and market alignment)
