Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Greeley, CO

This is a 13-week medical-surgical nursing position based at North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) in Greeley, Colorado, with possible extension. You will provide direct patient care to surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical-surgical patients. The role may require floating to support the Loveland Campus or BFC as needed.

Clinical Setting

• Based at NCMC with potential to float to Loveland Campus or BFC
• Medical-surgical unit caring for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological patients

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical-surgical patients
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for assigned patient populations
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Participate in unit rotation including every other weekend and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Ability to read telemetry strips
• Proficiency in caring for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical-surgical patients

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation

Compensation

• Local pay: $55.38/hour
• Travel pay estimate: $2,065.50/week
