Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery, Tier I Per Diem Days, VOLOL

Virtua is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Camden, New Jersey. This is a per diem position working day shifts on a flexible schedule.

You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and evaluating nursing interventions. You will administer and monitor therapeutic treatments, participate in clinical decision-making, and educate patients and families about their care needs and wellness. You will delegate and supervise care provided by other nursing and healthcare team members, participate in orientation and professional development activities, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Schedule

This is a per diem day shift position with 12-hour shifts. Tier I requirements include 36 hours within a 6-week schedule, one non-premium holiday, and at least one 12-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Associate's degree in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2-4 years of nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $56.95
