Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery, Full-time Nights, VOLOL

Virtua is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit in Camden, New Jersey. This full-time night position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will work 12-hour night shifts as part of a dedicated obstetric nursing team.

Clinical Setting

This role is based in the Labor & Delivery department at Virtua's Camden facility, where you will care for pregnant patients and support the delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and treatment regimens
• Participate in clinical decision-making with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding the labor and delivery process, individual care needs, wellness, and safety
• Delegate and monitor care provided by other nursing staff and healthcare team members
• Participate in orientation, education, and professional development of healthcare team members
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing or higher
• 0-1 years of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2-4 years of nursing experience

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 36 standard hours per week
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $46.39 - $64.45, based on experience, internal equity, and market alignment.
