Registered Nurse Inpatient - Operating Room

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a full-time day shift. In this role, you will provide direct inpatient nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled patients in an acute care setting. You will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications while monitoring for reactions and side effects, maintain accurate medical records, and monitor and report on patient symptoms and condition changes. You may also advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is a 108-bed acute inpatient facility serving Cumberland, Perry, and York counties with state-of-the-art equipment and a culture of clinical excellence.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Day shift: 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• 1.0 FTE

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state of employment or multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
• BLS certification required prior to orientation completion

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
