Registered Nurse - Inpatient Dialysis - Weekend Option - Full Time - Day Shift

CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient dialysis to provide direct nursing care to patients with acute or chronic renal failure. This full-time day shift position is based at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, and offers a weekend option schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute or chronic renal failure
• Perform pre-dialysis assessments and monitor dialysis access
• Monitor patients during and after treatment
• Operate dialysis machinery
• Perform point-of-care lab testing
• Provide patient and family education

Schedule

• Full-time position with 36 scheduled weekly hours
• Day shift: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Weekend option available

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN-approved program
• Active RN license in Missouri
• BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership abilities
• Strong time management skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Previous nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits

• $1.00 per hour certification pay
• $1.00 per hour BSN pay
