Registered Nurse II (RN) - ICU

Join our ICU as a Registered Nurse II, providing direct care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment. In this role, you will use the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive patient care while considering each patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and language needs, as well as age-appropriate teaching and learning readiness.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for two critically ill patients, with capability to manage most 1:1 acuity assignments
• Care for patients on mechanical ventilation
• Interpret basic cardiac dysrhythmias and hemodynamic status, correlating clinical readings to patient care decisions
• Assist with bedside procedures as needed
• Administer medications prescribed by the physician according to facility policy
• Involve the interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing the plan of care
• Use autonomous practice and critical thinking skills in daily clinical decision-making
• Anticipate professional responsibilities and accept accountability for professional actions

Schedule

• Night shift: 1900-0730
• Full-time position
• 6 shifts per two-week pay period
• Some weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills

Compensation

• Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus based on experience
