Registered Nurse- Home Health

Sentara Home Care is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the home health setting. In this full-time position based in Virginia Beach, VA, you will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for patients. You will manage a patient caseload while coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated, comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care for specific patient populations
• Manage a patient caseload through coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide direct clinical care and apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by specific clinical areas
• Travel between patient visits in the Virginia Beach area

Schedule

• First shift (days)
• Full-time position

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• Associate's degree or higher
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience
• Previous home care experience

Travel Requirements

• Mileage reimbursement is offered for miles driven between patient visits

Compensation and Benefits

• Base pay range: $87,214.40 - $126,900.80 annually (based on 2,080 hours per year)
• Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
• Annual discretionary bonus opportunity if established system and employee eligibility criteria are met
