Registered Nurse, Home Health - Senior Living Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time or per diem home health visits serving seniors in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. This role focuses on providing skilled nursing care to clients within 1-2 senior living communities, allowing you to deliver home health services with a more localized geographic territory.

Clinical Setting

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services that enable clients to receive necessary medical care while remaining in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans according to patient needs
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and carry out treatments and procedures
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Execute and document physician orders
• Perform client assessments as needed
• Provide case management and care coordination
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic tablet systems

Schedule

This position requires early morning and evening or weekend availability, with hours before 8:00 AM and after 4:00 PM. You must be available Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Part-time positions require working 3 to 4 days per week. Per diem positions require working 2 to 3 days per week.

Required Qualifications

• Current active Registered Nurse license in Maryland
• Minimum one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (school transcript or diploma required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior home care experience
• Current home health, home care health base (HCHB), or OASIS experience (required for per diem positions)

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $52.00 to $56.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
