Registered Nurse - Home Health Infusion Therapy (Victorville)

BrightStar Care is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide home health infusion therapy services in the Victorville, Hesperia, and Apple Valley area. In this role, you will deliver clinical nursing care directly in patients' homes, managing infusion therapy and related treatments according to each patient's individualized Plan of Care. You will work independently with flexible scheduling, choosing to work as many or as few hours as you prefer, with availability for evenings, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care as defined by the client's individual Plan of Care and within the scope of California's nurse practice act
• Monitor patient condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
• Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Counsel clients and families in meeting nursing and related needs
• Ensure quality and adequacy of services provided, and supervise staff where required

Required Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
• Minimum one year of experience on your RN license
• Graduation from a National League of Nursing accredited program
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Clean background and criminal record
• Understanding of regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adherence to HIPAA and maintenance of client confidentiality

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Peripheral IV starts and maintenance
• IV infusion therapy
• Injection and self-infusion training
• Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients
• CVAD experience and knowledge

Schedule and Compensation

• Flexible scheduling with choice of hours
• Evenings, days, weekends, and holidays available
• Pay rate: $50.00 per hour
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
