The opportunity
Job Description
Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes throughout the service area. This full-time position offers the independence of home health nursing with the support of an experienced clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing visits in patients' homes
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform other skilled nursing interventions
- Educate patients and caregivers to support their health goals
- Partner with physicians and the clinical team to coordinate quality care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including OASIS
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of home health experience
- 1 or more years of OASIS documentation experience
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Field-based work throughout service area
