Registered Nurse - Home Health Care

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide home health care services in the Sioux Falls, Brookings, and Fargo areas. In this role, you will deliver direct patient care in home environments, managing a variety of clinical tasks and patient populations while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and monitor wound healing
• Manage medications and administer treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Provide care for patients with percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes and related feeding needs, as applicable
• Administer infusions and monitor clients for responses or complications
• Perform lab draws and collect specimens as ordered
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor client conditions
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned within the scope of practice

You have the ability to review and decline any assignment prior to accepting it if you are not comfortable with required tasks. Additional training is provided where needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges
• Minimum 1,000 hours of prior LPN or RN experience
• Current CPR certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to provide professional nursing care in a variety of home environments
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards

Schedule and Employment

• Flexible scheduling with PRN and part-time opportunities, with potential for full-time hours
• Create your own schedule through communication with the scheduler
• Available shifts: days, evenings, and overnights
• Flexible shift lengths
• 24/7 on-call support from an Interim HealthCare team member

Compensation and Benefits

• $35.00 per hour, paid weekly

On-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates.
