Registered Nurse, GI Services- Waukesha Memorial Hospital- 0.9 FTE

ProHealth Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for GI Services at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. This full-time position (0.9 FTE) supports comprehensive gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures in a department with 7 procedural rooms and 24 patient holding rooms. You will work collaboratively with RNs and GI Technicians to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the procedural experience.

Clinical Setting

The GI Department provides support for GI and pulmonary procedures. The department operates with dedicated nursing and technical staff working together to care for patients before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will:

• Integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families
• Deliver care using a deliberate, systematic approach
• Demonstrate mastery of technical skills and view clinical situations from a patient and family focus
• Provide professional nursing care within clinical areas as required by staffing matrices
• Supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with your educational preparation and demonstrated abilities

Schedule

• Monday through Friday day shift
• Start times vary based on assignment: holding area start times typically 0600-0730; procedural area start times typically 0730-0800
• Call rotation required: weekday overnight requirements, plus every 5th-6th weekend and 1-2 holidays per year

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
• Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
