Registered Nurse, Full-Time Evenings, 12p-12a, Operating Room, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center

Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, working evenings from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Record patient vital signs and medical information
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center is a leading regional medical center in Summit, New Jersey. The facility has achieved Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest national honor for nursing excellence. Overlook is designated an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and holds advanced Joint Commission certification for perinatal care, behavioral health care, spine surgery, wound care, and primary care medical home services.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date)
• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• One or more years of experience in nursing or a relevant area
• ACLS certification

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Evening shift: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
