Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, working days from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You will work with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities in a surgical setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions
- Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
- Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
- Record patient vital signs and medical information
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of start date)
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
- One or more years of experience in nursing or relevant area
- ACLS certification
