Registered Nurse, Full-Time Days, 7a-7p, Telemetry, Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center

Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit, working day shifts from 7a-7p. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, supporting patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and record vital signs and medical information
• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions
• Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date)
• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• One or more years of experience in nursing or a relevant area
• ACLS certification
