Registered Nurse, Full-Time Days, 7a-5p or 7a-8p, Operating room, Chilton Medical Center

Chilton Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, working days from 7am to 5pm or 7am to 8pm. You will work with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, and disabilities in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Record patient vital signs and medical information
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of start date)
• Master's degree in nursing or related field
• One or more years of experience in nursing or relevant area
• ACLS certification

Schedule

• Full-time, days
• 7am to 5pm or 7am to 8pm
