Registered Nurse - Fast Track Intermittent - Evening Shift

Southcentral Foundation is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services Department at Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC). This is a fast-track intermittent position working the evening shift.

You will provide professional nursing services to a full assignment of customer-owners, applying the nursing process independently and consistently to deliver safe, therapeutic, and efficient care. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to collect and analyze health data, identify and report changes to providers, develop individualized plans of care, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes.

Clinical Setting

This position supports the Emergency Services Department at Alaska Native Medical Center, serving Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services using the nursing process to care for a full assignment of customer-owners
• Independently collect customer-owner health data and analyze findings
• Identify and report changes to the provider
• Develop individualized plans of care to attain expected outcomes
• Implement interventions identified in the plan of care
• Evaluate customer-owner progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team

Schedule

• Evening shift
• Intermittent (as-needed) position

Compensation

• Hiring range: $42.27 to $56.36 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Current license in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within twelve months of hire
• Thorough understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian cultures and the needs of this population

Employee Health Requirements
