Registered Nurse - ER

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment. This role involves managing everything from minor injuries to critical trauma cases, with the ability to work independently when physicians are not immediately available.

Clinical Setting

This is a high-acuity emergency department where you will assess patient conditions, identify urgent and emergent situations, and prioritize care accordingly. You will operate and monitor emergency equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and identify urgent and emergent situations
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical need
• Initiate emergency interventions when a physician is not immediately available
• Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters
• Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and mechanical ventilation as ordered
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, interventions, and coordination with the care team
• Assign and delegate tasks to team members based on patient needs and staff competencies

Schedule

12-hour shifts with two options:

• Option 1: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Option 2: 3:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to meet pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screen
