Registered Nurse, ER, Full-time 3p-3a shift, Clarksville

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room at our Main campus in Clarksville. This full-time position works the 3p-3a shift and is part of the region's largest comprehensive academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics.

Clinical Setting

You will work in the VCH Emergency Room, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver world-class emergency care to patients throughout the Mid-South region.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum
• Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnoses
• Utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe, healthy environment
• Provide patient assessment and evaluation
• Deliver patient education
• Develop and manage care plans
• Apply evidence-based nutrition practice

Schedule

• Full-time (36 hours per week)
• 3p-3a shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
