Registered Nurse, ER, Full-time 3p-3a, Clarksville

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room at our main campus in Clarksville. This full-time position works the 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. shift and offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative academic medical center environment.

Clinical Setting

You will work within VCH Emergency Room - Main, part of Vanderbilt Health's eight-hospital system and over 180 clinics serving the Mid-South region. The emergency department is a dynamic setting where you will care for diverse patient populations and work alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum
• Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnoses
• Utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes
• Employ strategies to promote health and maintain a safe, healthy environment
• Provide informal guidance and support to team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and address quality issues promptly
• Perform routine safety checks and fulfill safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously by prioritizing work and adapting to changes with minimal disruption

Schedule

• Full-time position (36 hours per week)
• 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
