Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Endoscopy Lab on a PRN (as needed) basis. The Fair Oaks Hospital Endoscopy Lab comprises 6 suites and performs over 9,000 procedures annually, including Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Endo Bariatric procedures, and Endoscopic Ultrasound procedures. You will work with many of the latest endoscopy technologies in a dynamic clinical environment.

Clinical Setting

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is a 182-bed acute care community hospital located in western Fairfax County, serving the rapidly growing suburbs of Northern Virginia.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts with varying times
• Minimum 7 shifts per 90 days required
• Weekday shift options: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in the operating room, endoscopy, PACU, or critical care (ICU/ED)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. If you hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), you must complete a BSN within 5 years of your start date
• Active RN license or eligibility to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the American Heart Association required at hire
• ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications issued by the American Heart Association to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of prior endoscopy and/or PACU nursing experience
