Registered Nurse - Emergency Services

Join McLaren's Emergency Services team as a Registered Nurse working the night shift in a fast-paced emergency department environment. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients, assess and document patient conditions, implement individualized plans of care, and coordinate with ancillary personnel to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess each assigned patient, document findings, and evaluate their response to the plan of care
• Take appropriate corrective action based on patient assessment and response
• Plan and implement the patient's plan of care following standards of care and practice
• Provide patient teaching using the established plan of care
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 72 hours per biweekly pay period
• Weekends required
• No on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• TNCC and ENPC certifications required within one year for Emergency Department
• Experience in specialty area may be required to maintain overall competency level as required by regulatory agency

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of professional nursing experience
