Indiana University Health is hiring Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department at Fort Wayne Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a part-time position offering both day and night shifts. You will provide evidence-based patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in clinical decision-making to advance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will reflect the mission and values of Indiana University Health, adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance, and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. You will be accountable for the provision and coordination of competent care along the care continuum, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will participate in teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team while adhering to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on unit/department specialty and patient care policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Exceptions

  • Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
