Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Part-time 2nd Shift, VOLOL

Virtua is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Camden, New Jersey. This is a part-time position working the 2nd shift with 24 standard hours per week. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, administering therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality emergency nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and treatment regimens
• Participate in clinical decision-making with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, care needs, wellness, and safety
• Delegate and monitor care provided by nursing staff and other healthcare team members
• Participate in orientation, education, and professional development activities
• Identify and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing or higher
• 0-1 years of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• 2-4 years of nursing experience

Schedule

• Part-time, 24 hours per week
• 2nd shift

• Hourly rate: $46.39 - $64.45 (based on experience, internal equity, and market alignment)
