Registered Nurse

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Virginia REACH team at the Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH) in Culpeper, VA. In this role, you will provide nursing care to youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs in a home-like therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing assessments
• Provide compassionate nursing care to youth with I/DD and behavioral health needs
• Educate and empower individuals regarding their physical and mental health
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Provide guidance to Behavior Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses as needed
• Promote stability, recovery, and hope for individuals served

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) position
• Weekend work available

Required Qualifications

• Current valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• Valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mental health and intellectual/developmental disability systems of care
• Experience with crisis prevention and intervention services

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive rate starting at $40.00 per hour and up
