Registered Nurse - Dermatology | Full Time

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Dermatology department at Marsh Wausau Center in Wausau, Wisconsin. In this full-time role, you will provide individualized nursing care to dermatology patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient care, perform patient assessments, provide patient education, conduct triage, and implement various nursing interventions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues.

Clinical Setting

This position is located at Marsh Wausau Center, part of Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 32 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts
• Monday through Friday with one day off per week

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care
• Assess patients and develop appropriate care plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues
• Perform patient education and triage
• Implement nursing interventions within the full scope of nursing practice
• Demonstrate competency and practice within established standards of nursing care
• Function within the scope and standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing in Wisconsin or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensures, competencies, and certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including programs accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $29.50 to $38.50 per hour
