Registered Nurse | Casual / PRN | Med Surg

Hillsdale Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a casual/PRN position in Medical-Surgical nursing. This role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a clean, safe healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' conditions and maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential reports and records
• Consult with and advise patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Create a comfortable environment for patients and families using a non-judgmental, compassionate attitude and open communication
• Work cohesively with the healthcare team to assess, administer, and evaluate individual patient care plans

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 2nd shift premium: $2.00/hour
• 3rd shift premium: $3.05/hour
• Weekend premium: $2.00/hour

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TEAM certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior nursing experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing
• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
