Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery center to provide comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical experience. You will assess patients, prepare them for procedures, and provide post-procedure support while ensuring safety and high patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures
• Initiate intravenous lines and administer medications
• Conduct point-of-care testing
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs throughout procedures and recovery
• Provide post-procedure support and patient education
• Educate patients and caregivers about procedures and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical team members
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Supervise nursing staff and orient new team members as needed
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program
• Active RN license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in operating room settings
• CNOR certification
