Registered Nurse- Ambulatory Surgery

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery center. In this role, you will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will care for routine surgical patients, provide patient and family education, and coordinate continuity of care planning using the Quality Caring Model.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate acceptable performance using the Quality Caring Model and nursing process to plan and manage care for routine patients
• Provide patient and family education
• Plan and coordinate continuity of care
• Effectively communicate fundamental patient and family information to the healthcare team

Schedule

• Part-time, Day Shift

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Authorization to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum one year of RN experience
• Additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Range: $41.70 – $55.68 per hour (based on experience, skills, and education)
