This is a full-time inpatient registered nurse position in an advanced acute care surgery setting. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 28-bed Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit, working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and support quality and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care to meet individual patient needs while promoting safety, patient satisfaction, and family engagement
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education and coordinate discharge planning
- Deliver direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making
- Support quality and safety initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment

Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing
