Registered Nurse – Acute Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Join our Acute Orthopedic Telemetry Unit as an Inpatient Registered Nurse, where you will deliver high-quality patient care in a primarily private room setting. This position specializes in surgical orthopedic and total joint surgery patients, requiring you to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that emphasizes high reliability, safety, and exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Address the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families
• Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures
• Evaluate intervention outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and resolve patient needs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives to ensure optimal patient experiences
• Promote safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Schedule

• Scheduled hours including every other weekend and holiday
