Registered Nurse – Acute Care Surgical Trauma Unit

This position provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care in an Acute Care Surgical Trauma Unit. You will deliver direct patient assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostics following established standards and policies. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that address patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and perform assessments within scope of practice
• Coordinate and educate patients and families on care plans and discharge processes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to address patient needs
• Delegate and supervise tasks, promote teamwork, and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices
• Support organizational goals and contribute to a positive work environment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving and clinical judgment abilities
• Ability to work in a clinical setting with focus on safety and quality
