Registered Nurse – Acute Care Medical (School Age Children) – Night Shift

This is a full-time inpatient Registered Nurse position specializing in pediatric acute care medical and surgical nursing for school-age children. You will work the night shift with rotating weekends and holidays on a pediatric medical/surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for pediatric patients
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic support
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in unit-based decision-making and quality and safety initiatives
• Troubleshoot clinical equipment
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety programs

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a specialty nursing training program
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment with focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Active RN license
