Join the 3 West Medical Telemetry Unit as a Registered Nurse, where you will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process. Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, you will work in a medical telemetry setting providing direct patient care to monitored patients.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to develop your nursing practice across four career levels (Level I, II, III, or IV), with the potential to expand your scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing based on appropriate educational preparation and departmental criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare personnel
  • Handle varying clinical issues in a stress-producing environment
  • Work effectively as an individual and as a member of the healthcare team

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and healthcare personnel
  • Ability to handle varying issues and work effectively in a stress-producing environment

Compensation

  • Pay range: $46.01 to $66.70 per hour
  • Compensation may be adjusted based on career ladder placement
