The opportunity
Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to support the Syracuse VA Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. This is a full-time, on-site contract position providing interventional radiology services to a veteran patient population.
Clinical Setting
You will work at a VA Medical Center providing comprehensive radiologist services across multiple imaging modalities and subspecialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site interventional radiography services
- Deliver diagnostic radiology services including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine imaging
- Provide subspecialty radiologist services in abdominal/GU, breast imaging, cardiovascular, general, musculoskeletal, and neuroradiology
- Participate in shared on-call responsibilities
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Average of 40 hours per two-week period
- On-site position; remote work is not available
Required Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Current, valid, unrestricted medical license in any of the 50 states
- Expertise in diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiography
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
