Psychiatric Registered Nurse- Home Health

Preferred Care Home Health Services is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to deliver skilled behavioral health nursing care to patients in their homes on a PRN basis. You will work with an interdisciplinary care team to help patients manage their mental health conditions safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct skilled psychiatric nursing visits per physician orders and the plan of care
• Serve as primary RN case manager for patients with psychiatric diagnoses
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, progress, and treatment response
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and safety
• Communicate condition changes promptly to physicians and the care team
• Participate in care conferences and maintain timely, accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Psychiatric nursing experience
• Home Health experience
• OASIS experience
