Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Washington (Part-time)

Two Chairs is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver remote telepsychiatry services in Washington. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities, allowing you to build a schedule that fits your life within Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm operating hours.

You will conduct 60-minute psychiatric assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications including controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations, and integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical leadership through an integrated care platform that supports measurement-based care and clinical decision support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to support client goals
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership for support, escalation, and continued learning
• Partner with therapists and other providers through integrated care plans and team consultation spaces
• Use data-informed tools and measurement-based care to tailor treatment plans and improve outcomes
• Contribute to a growing community of clinicians committed to redefining mental health care

Schedule

• Part-time, W2 position at 16 hours per week with opportunity for increased hours over time
• Approximately 75% direct client care and 25% administrative/supervisory work (balance may vary based on team needs)
• Build your schedule within Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm operating hours
• No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
• Paid administrative time provided so documentation does not follow you home
• Start date: September 2026

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Licensed to practice in Washington as a PMHNP
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP
• Active DEA license in Washington
• Experience delivering remote telepsychiatry services

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional state licensure beyond Washington
• Open to obtaining additional state licenses to support company expansion (Two Chairs covers all costs and provides full administrative support)

Compensation

Washington is in Zone 2. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $70 and $86 per hour, with the full range for the zone at $70-95 per hour. Compensation is based on clinical experience, place of residence, and overall qualifications.

Onboarding and Support

During your first 90 days, you will become comfortable with Two Chairs systems, processes, and teams, supported by an onboarding team and clinical leadership. You will gradually build a caseload and deliver exceptional mental health care while collaborating with team members to help refine workflows and care protocols. By the end of your first year, you will have established a robust caseload of clients and delivered exceptional care as evidenced by clinical outcomes.
