Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric consultations and care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout Massachusetts. This is a full-time contract position offering competitive compensation, administrative support, clinical mentorship, and flexible work hours.

Clinical Setting

You will work collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families to deliver psychiatric care in long-term care environments. The role emphasizes both pharmacological and behavioral interventions, with a focus on non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Round at assigned nursing homes and provide psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations
• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments when appropriate
• Provide education on best practices

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Ability to travel in Massachusetts

Schedule and Employment

• Full-time contract position (1099)
• Flexible work hours available
• Travel required in Massachusetts

Compensation

• Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per annum
