Job Description

Cordial Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience to provide on-site behavioral health care in Buffalo, New York. This full-time position offers meaningful clinical work with provider autonomy and comprehensive support from an experienced behavioral health team. You will care for adult and geriatric residents whose psychiatric needs may otherwise go untreated or undertreated.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications
  • Evaluate treatment response, medication effectiveness, and side effects
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, residents, and families
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff regarding diagnoses, medications, and behavioral interventions
  • Provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and resident-centered care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Schedule

  • Full-time weekday schedule
  • No weekend work
  • Predictable daytime hours

Compensation and Benefits
