LifeStance Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide autonomous outpatient mental healthcare services in Virginia. This is a full-time W-2 position with a national behavioral health practice group focused on evidence-based, medically driven treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an outpatient care setting providing both in-person and telemedicine services. The practice offers a collegial, multidisciplinary team environment with no on-call duties. Physician collaborators are available to support your independent practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients across all age groups (children, adolescents, and adults)
  • Deliver evidence-based mental healthcare services
  • Conduct therapy and psychopharmacological treatment
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Manage patient caseload with full administrative support for billing and scheduling

Required Qualifications

  • Active Virginia PMHNP license
  • PMHNP board certification
  • Minimum one year of post-training clinical experience
  • Ability to practice independently with confidence
  • Experience providing care to all age groups: children, adolescents, and adults
  • Experience in both medication management and therapy
  • Residency within commutable distance of the Virginia office location

  • Annual income potential: $216,000 to $252,000+
