Family Nurse Practitioner with 3 to 5 years of psychiatric experience
CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible weekday scheduling (Monday through Friday), no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. You will work across skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities serving over 100,000 patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with an integrated care team including psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and nursing staff
- Distinguish and diagnose psychological versus physiological disorders
- Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases
Clinical Setting
You will work in long-term care, rehabilitation, and assisted living facilities within a clinician-led organization.
Schedule
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- You select your own weekday schedule (Monday through Friday)
- No nights, weekends, or on-call requirements
- Predictable, steady caseloads
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health
- ANCC PMHNP certification
- Experience in psychotropic medication management
- Active DEA registration
Preferred Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioners with 3 to 5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered
