Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner In Rocky Mount, NC

TeamHealth is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient, integrated behavioral health setting in Rocky Mount, NC. This role collaborates closely with primary care clinicians to support whole-person care in a team-based environment.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an integrated behavioral health outpatient setting, collaborating with primary care clinicians and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric services.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and DSM-based diagnoses
• Manage medications and treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation
• Support crisis triage and referrals as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensed PMHNP (or APRN/PA with psychiatric training) in North Carolina
• DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of psychiatric experience

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday: Clinical hours with rotating remote days
• Friday: Administrative day
• No weekends, nights, or on-call duties

Compensation

Estimated compensation range of $135,000 to $165,000 annually with no cap on productivity income.
