Clearview Outpatient, part of the Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare Network, is seeking a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for clients enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will work in a collaborative, evidence-based clinical environment dedicated to behavioral health treatment, conducting psychiatric assessments, managing pharmacological treatment, and consulting with patients, families, and community providers to support successful treatment outcomes.
Clinical Setting
Clearview Outpatient is a leading regional provider of mental health treatment services offering a continuum of care including inpatient, intensive residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services. You will primarily work within our PHP setting, with on-site availability at least weekly and telephone availability for urgent medication-related situations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations for all individuals enrolled in PHP and ensure medical necessity for program enrollment
- Provide medication management services for PHP clients as clinically indicated
- Provide consultation, education, and clinical information to patients and families to support treatment success and program engagement
- Direct and collaborate with clinical staff on treatment activities and interventions
- Provide consultation to community referrals as needed to ensure successful patient disposition
- Complete medical records and documentation in a timely and accurate manner to meet clinical, payer, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain frequent and close working relationships with staff, clients, families, facility peers, and external clinical providers and referral partners
- Participate in marketing and outreach events as needed
- Perform additional medical responsibilities as requested by the Director
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with all necessary requirements met to practice adult psychiatry in California
- Minimum of two years of management experience in a behavioral health setting such as a hospital, outpatient clinic, or related service provider
- Minimum of two years of experience treating adult clients in mental health settings
- Superior communication skills working with patients, family members, community stakeholders, and staff
- Ability to perform duties independently, responsibly, and with a high level of integrity
- Valid driver's license and generally clean driving record; may be required to drive personal or company vehicles
- Clearance through Livescan fingerprint background check; state licensing DHS and DSS prohibit individuals with specific criminal charges (exemptions may be offered)

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $90.00-$110.00 per hour (depending on licensure, level, and location)
