PRN - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PA / PMHNP - Nashville, TN!

Ally Psychiatry, a physician-owned and physician-led psychiatric medical group, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a PRN inpatient role in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is primarily for occasional weekend coverage in an onsite inpatient psychiatric setting.

Clinical Setting

You will work within Ally Psychiatry's inpatient psychiatric services. The organization operates across nine states with partnerships spanning more than 55 hospitals and nearly 20 outpatient clinics, providing comprehensive mental health care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders
• Deliver high-quality inpatient psychiatric care
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified PMHNP or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience, or strong mental health background
• Licensed or license-eligible in Tennessee
• Tennessee DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Comfortable working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage acute psychiatric presentations
• Collaborative, adaptable approach to patient-centered care

Schedule

This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule, primarily for occasional weekend coverage.
